Baseball Recap: Classical Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Classical Academy had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 10-11 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Bishop's Knights. Four seems to be a good number for the Caimans as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Chaeton Revilla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Weston Michals was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Classical Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.

As for Bishop's, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8-1 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8-1.

On Bishop's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Browne, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Classical Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
