After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santiam Christian, Blanchet Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Amity Warriors with a 24-20 victory. The Cavaliers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Blanchet Catholic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Amity, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Blanchet Catholic will look to defend their home field on Friday against Salem Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Cavaliers will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
