Volleyball Recap: Milford Has No Trouble Against Escalante

Milford's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Escalante Moquis. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-10.

Milford can attribute much of their success to Meridee Ah-Fook, who had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave Ah-Fook a new career-high.

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Escalante, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Milford will take on Millard at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Escalante and Panguitch will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Moquis surely won't give up without a fight.
