 Mater Lakes Academy waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the IMater Charter Knights with a sharp  11-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mater Lakes Academy also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2023.
  Jonathan Vazquez looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  Alfrin Rosario was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Bryan Ravelo, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 On iMater Charter's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rogert Jimenez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Mater Lakes Academy pushed their record up to 8-7 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs per game. As for iMater Charter, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mater Lakes Academy will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome American Heritage, where first pitch is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m. American Heritage's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Mater Lakes Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for iMater Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against ABF Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
