It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sallisaw can now relate to. They fell just short of the Skiatook Bulldogs by a score of 5-4 on Monday.

Sallisaw's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Skiatook, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
