Recap: Moses Brown Quakers vs. Mt. Hope Huskies        
        
		
            
 The Moses Brown Quakers waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with 14 straight wins  but they left with 15. They enjoyed a cozy  49-33 victory over Mt. Hope. Given Moses Brown's advantage  in MaxPreps' Rhode Island basketball rankings  (they are ranked second, while Mt. Hope is ranked 35th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Lauren Bousquet, who  dropped  a double-double on 27 points and 18  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaelynn Perez, who  scored five points along with eight  assists and two  steals.
 Mt. Hope's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Emily Moran, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds. Moran has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last 14 times she's  played.  Elsa White was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on nine points and ten  rebounds.
 Moses Brown's victory was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-1. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Mt. Hope, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-13.
 Moses Brown will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Tiverton at 6:30  p.m. Moses Brown is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.9  points per game this season. As for Mt. Hope, they will head out on the road to  take on  Cranston East at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Cranston East has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
