Basketball Recap: Pekin Takes a Loss

Pekin lost against Hillcrest Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pekin Panthers took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Academy Ravens.

Pekin's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Hillcrest Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Pekin will challenge Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillcrest Academy, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hillcrest Academy Ravens challenge the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
