Volleyball Recap: Brookwood Falls to Forsyth Central in First Game of Season

Brookwood kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the Forsyth Central Bulldogs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 10-25, 25-22.

Leading Forsyth Central to victory were Summer Frost and Maddy Cash. Frost had eight aces, while Cash had five aces. Those eight aces gave Frost a new career-high.

Coming up, Brookwood will take on Oconee County at 9:00 a.m. on the 9th. As for Forsyth Central, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Cherokee Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
