Baseball Game Preview: Bremen Braves vs. Evergreen Park Mustangs

The Bremen Braves will take on the Evergreen Park Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Bremen came up short against Tinley Park and fell 8-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

Bremen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jon Olivera, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. RJ Harris also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Park entered their tilt with Argo on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Argonauts. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 25, 2023, but that streak is no more.

The team relied heavily on Yarim Garcia, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carlos Flores, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI.

Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Evergreen Park, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.
