            Baseball Recap: Holy Redeemer Royals vs. Wyoming Area Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Holy Redeemer lost to Wyoming Area  back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Royals came out on top against the Warriors by a score of  5-1. The game was the first time the Royals have beaten the Warriors on their field since April 15, 2024.

 Cody Quaglia made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Drew Cisney was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Alex Gordon, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Holy Redeemer  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wyoming Area struck out seven times.
Holy Redeemer has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record  this season. As for Wyoming Area,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at five games  and leaves them with a 9-7 record.
Holy Redeemer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
