Soccer Recap: Powhatan Takes a Loss

Powhatan lost against Clover Hill back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. That's two games in a row now that Powhatan have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Powhatan and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Clover Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Powhatan is set to square off against their familiar foe Monacan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clover Hill will take on rival James River Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
