Soccer Recap: Heide Trask's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against East Columbus last Monday, Heide Trask came back down to earth. The Titans fell just short of the North Brunswick Scorpions by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Heide Trask were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but North Brunswick's defense proved too tough.

Heide Trask's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3-2. As for North Brunswick, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10.

Heide Trask will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pender at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for North Brunswick, they will face off against South Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Brunswick will be up against South Brunswick's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.13 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
