Basketball Recap: Leesville Takes a Loss

Leesville was the 55-45 winner over Eunice when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Leesville Wampus Cats fell 70-57 to the Eunice Bobcats on Friday. The Wampus Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Eunice, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-20.

Leesville has already played their next contest (against Woodlawn-Shreveport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Eunice, they will take on DeRidder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eunice is facing DeRidder at the right time seeing as DeRidder is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
