River Valley came out on top against Richland Center on Friday thanks in part to Hughson Thatcher's efforts. Thatcher produced his best game of the campaign: he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
