Basketball Game Recap: Irvington vs. Newark Tech

The Irvington Blue Knights were the big favorite in their most recent matchup, and for good reason. They took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 88-57 victory over the Newark Tech Terries. For the Blue Knights, this is just revenge for the 66-60 defeat they suffered against Newark the last time they faced one another January 14th.

Irvington's win brought them up to 17-3. Newark's overall record fell to 10-9.

Irvington will take on University on Thursday. Like Irvington, University is also coming into the game bolstered by a recent victory. Newark is staying on the road next week to face off against University. The Terries won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
