After losing to Cony the last time they met, Brewer decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Witches were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Witches.

Sarah Snowdeal paced Brewer's offense, picking up seven kills. Snowdeal got some help from Eve Pierson and her 14 assists. Snowdeal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Brewer's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cony, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brewer will challenge rival Messalonskee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cony is set to take on their familiar foe Hampden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
