While North Shore Country Day's victory against Lake Forest Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Caxys 12-10. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.

Gerald Kalotis was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Filip Bialon, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

North Shore Country Day always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Forest Academy only posted an OBP of .351.

The victory got North Shore Country Day back to even at 3-3. As for Lake Forest Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Shore Country Day will face off against Chicago University at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Forest Academy, they will take on Schaumburg Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Conquerors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.2 runs per game on average), something the Caxys will no doubt try to take advantage of.
