After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage Academy, Anthem Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Hayden Lobos with a sharp 15-9 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Bailey McCabe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. McCabe was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs.
In other batting news, Anthem Prep got a massive performance out of Grace Stillwell, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Addison Evjen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
