Softball Recap: St. Augustine Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Baboquivari on Tuesday, St. Augustine Catholic came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against the Chandler Prep Titans on Thursday, falling 15-8. The Wolves have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Emily Flores and Maria Martinez did some serious damage despite the final result: Flores went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Martinez got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
