Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Shoals Jaguars vs. Clarke Central Gladiators

The Cedar Shoals Jaguars will face off against the Clarke Central Gladiators at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Cedar Shoals had to suffer through a 65-34 loss at the hands of East Forsyth. The Jaguars have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Clarke Central's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 39-31 to Loganville.

Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Clarke Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Cedar Shoals beat Clarke Central 42-29 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Does Cedar Shoals have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clarke Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
