Seguin is 9-1 against Burleson since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Meanwhile, Burleson took a blow against Mansfield Summit on Tuesday, falling 72-32. The loss continues a trend for the Elks in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now lost nine in a row.

Seguin now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Burleson, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.

Everything came up roses for Seguin against Burleson in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured an 81-41 victory. Will Seguin repeat their success, or does Burleson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
