Basketball Preview: Dixon Bulldogs vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils

Dixon and South Lenoir are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2022, but not for long. The Bulldogs will square off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Lenoir took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dixon, who comes in off a win.

Dixon hadn't beaten Heide Trask on the road since January 21, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 76-69 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dixon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Wright, who posted 17 points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Wright a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Pauline, who went 8-for-10 to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds.
