Baseball Recap: Clackamas Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

While Clackamas put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Central Catholic. The Cavaliers blew past the Rams 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Clackamas has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Central Catholic, they moved to 18-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Coming up, Clackamas will square off against Nelson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cavaliers 2.3, Nelson 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
