Baseball Recap: Dunn Triumphs

After losing to Valley Christian Academy the last time they met, Dunn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dunn Earwigs walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Valley Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday.

Theodore Anderson was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Makoa Nabarro was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The win got Dunn back to even at 1-1. As for Valley Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dunn will challenge Grace at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Grace is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. As for Valley Christian Academy, they will take on Orcutt Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
