There's no place like home for Homewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Leeds Greenwave a 3-0 shutout on Friday. Considering Homewood have won 12 matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Homewood pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five games. As for Leeds, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season.

Homewood and Leeds will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Homewood sees the pitch they'll take on Jackson-Olin at 6:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Leeds, their break will end when they face Jasper at 7:30 p.m. on April 1.
