Volleyball Recap: Salesian College Preparatory Comes Up Short

Salesian College Preparatory lost against Pinole Valley back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Salesian College Preparatory came up short against Pinole Valley, falling 3-0. The Pride have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Salesian College Preparatory was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pinole Valley work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-15.

Salesian College Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Pinole Valley, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Salesian College Preparatory and Pinole Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Salesian College Preparatory sees the court they'll take on Swett at 5:30 p.m. on April 2. As for Pinole Valley, their break will end when they face Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on April 2.
