Volleyball Recap: Snowflake Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Snowflake waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Chinle Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lobos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Alyssa Peterson paced Snowflake's offense, picking up seven kills. Peterson got some help from Taya Schneider and her nine assists. Schneider was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Snowflake's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Chinle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Snowflake and Chinle will both be playing St. Johns the next time they take the court. The Lobos will host the Redskins at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
