For the second straight game, Mynderse Academy will face off against Midlakes. The Blue Devils will take on the Screaming Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mynderse Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Mynderse Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Midlakes with a sharp 11-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blue Devils needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Isabella Burlew was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Burlew was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Those hits marked the first that she got this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mercedes Santana, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Danielle McDermott was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

The win got Mynderse Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Midlakes, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
