Volleyball Recap: Laingsburg Comes Up Short

Laingsburg lost against Williamston back in August of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolfpack fell 2-0 to the Hornets.

While Laingsburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Harper Strouse paced Laingsburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Strouse got some help from Kendall Michels and her ten assists.

Laingsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-2. As for Williamston, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Laingsburg will square off against Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Williamston, they will venture away from home to take on Western at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
