Football Recap: Huffman Vikings vs. Oxford Yellow Jackets
Huffman had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it nine. They took a blow against the Oxford Yellow Jackets, falling 55-6. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 34th).
As for Oxford, they now have a winning record of 5-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jay'Lin Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 143 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
