Baseball Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Foothill's offense. They lost 24-0 to the Armijo Royals on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 on Tuesday.

Foothill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Tripp, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Foothill has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season. As for Armijo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Foothill nor Armijo have any future games scheduled.
