Basketball Recap: St. David's Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

St. David extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Carolyn Ames. The St. David's Warriors managed a 30-26 win over the GRACE Christian Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to Ames, who posted six points and five steals. Those five steals gave her a new career-high.

Anna Hauser was another key player, putting up four points and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

St. David's has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for GRACE Christian, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

St. David's has already played their next contest (against Grace Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. GRACE Christian will face off against Trinity Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
