Cedar Park Christian and Granite Falls are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Park Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Cedar Park Christian fought the good fight in their overtime contest against King's on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 24-21. Despite the defeat, Cedar Park Christian got top-tier performance from Lyal Viers, who rushed for 162 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Viers' longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. Lincoln Meyers made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Granite Falls played against South Whidbey on Friday and won via forfeit.

Granite Falls pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Cedar Park Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
