Unity Christian hadn't done well against Cedartown recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Lions were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The  contest marked the Lions' most dominant  victory of the  season so far.
 Unity Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Cedartown to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18,  25-12.
 Claira Kight paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Kight got some help from  Ella Claire Goodwin and her 19 assists.  Josie Edwards controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Unity Christian has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record  this season. As for Cedartown,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Looking ahead, Unity Christian will square off against Hearts Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Cedartown, they will challenge Haralson County at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
