Wahama is a perfect 10-0 against Wirt County since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The White Falcons will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wahama is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Winfield on Monday. They fell 5-2 to the Generals. The White Falcons have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wirt County took on Clay County on Wednesday. The Tigers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Jakob Moore put in work no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Moore was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Brody Ewing was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Boice, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Wahama now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Wirt County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Wahama took their win against Wirt County in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 15-3 score. Will the White Falcons repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
