Softball Recap: Delhi Comes Up Short

If Delhi was riding high fresh off their 24-5 takedown of Turlock Christian two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks lost 14-4 to the Denair Coyotes on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost three in a row.

Delhi's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Denair, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Delhi is set to face off against their familiar foe Le Grand at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Denair will square off against rival Mariposa County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
