Recap: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Quitman County Hornets
Even though the Quitman County Hornets scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the Terrell County Greenwave still came out on top. Terrell County took their game against Quitman County 75-62. That's another feather in the cap for Terrell County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Shaheed Huckaby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keavonte Anderson, who scored 12 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Terrell County and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for Quitman County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
Terrell County will head out on the road to square off against Early County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Quitman County, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Furlow Charter School at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Furlow Charter School comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
