Basketball Recap: Gettysburg Comes Up Short

Gettysburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Middletown Blue Raiders at home by a 62-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 246th).

Gettysburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Middletown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

While Gettysburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
