Tennessee Heat faced Riverside Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Tennessee Heat took their match against Riverside Christian Academy last Friday 34-26. The success represented a nice turnaround for Tennessee Heat, who in their last game suffered a tough 13-52 defeat.

Meanwhile, St. Andrews-Sewanee have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They made easy work of Franklin Classical School and carried off a 23-0 victory. St. Andrews-Sewanee were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
