Softball Recap: Mahanoy Area Golden Bears vs. Marian Catholic

Mahanoy Area extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping their season record down to 4-8 in the process. They lost 14-6 to Marian Catholic. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their loss to Marian Catholic from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Naomi Kowalick made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Brode, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
