Dynamic duo of Emma Garcia and Jenna Arugello lead Holy Cross to victory

Recap: Holy Cross Knights vs. Brentwood Christian Bears
The Holy Cross Knights waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 42-33 win over Brentwood Christian. This was payback for Holy Cross, who suffered a 67-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Holy Cross was led to victory by Emma Garcia and Jenna Arugello. Garcia scored ten points, while Arugello scored 13 points.
Holy Cross has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Brentwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Texas School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Brentwood Christian will head out to face Texas School for the Deaf at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while Holy Cross will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
