Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-33 defeat at the hands of the Wadley Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-54 last Friday.

Frisco Robertson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wadley, going 9 of 12 en route to 24 points. Robertson has been hot, having posted 16 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Demon Spraddling, who posted 11 points.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Wadley, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wadley, they will take on Winterboro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
