Maplesville took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Thorsby, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out the Rebels 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since August 27, 2024.

Maplesville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Thorsby, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maplesville will take on Verbena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Thorsby and Holtville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
