Basketball Recap: KIPP Navigate College Prep Beats Luis Valdez Leadership Academy for Their Third Straight Win

It was a proper cat-fight when KIPP Navigate College Prep took on Luis Valdez Leadership Academy on Saturday. The KIPP Navigate College Prep Tigers came out on top against the Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions by a score of 36-24. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 42-32 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

KIPP Navigate College Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derrick Tran, who posted 13 points. Tran is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alfredo Flores, who put up ten points and six rebounds.
