Basketball Game Preview: Islands Sharks vs. Groves Rebels + How To Watch

The Islands Sharks are taking a road trip to take on the Groves Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Islands has four straight wins, Groves has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Islands will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Windsor Forest, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Sharks came out on top against the Knights by a score of 57-46 on Tuesday. Given the Sharks' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Knights are ranked 426th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Groves played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Ware County and fell 75-41. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-17.

Islands' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Groves, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Islands beat Groves 72-63 when the teams last played back in February. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
