Soccer Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside and Santa Fe squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Eastside had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Santa Fe Raiders. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in January.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-2. As for Santa Fe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Santa Fe, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pensacola Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th. Pensacola Catholic's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Santa Fe's offense will have their work cut out for them.
