Lake Minneola is a perfect 4-0 against Tavares since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Lake Minneola will host Tavares at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Lake Minneola came up short against Umatilla on Friday, falling 12-2.

Lake Minneola saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeha Parra, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Parra snagged this season.

Even though they lost, Lake Minneola hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when they post two or more strikeouts.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Tavares fell 8-5 to Umatilla.

Tavares' defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lake Minneola, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Lake Minneola beat Tavares 15-10 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Lake Minneola have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tavares turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
