If Polytechnic wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Monrovia, they should've done a better job of containing Jesse Saucedo. The Monrovia Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Polytechnic Panthers 49-7 thanks in part to Saucedo, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.

Monrovia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Troy Grise, Lucas Martinez, and Joshua Griffiths picked up one apiece.

The win made it two in a row for Monrovia and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Polytechnic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Monrovia will face off against Burbank at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Burbank's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. Polytechnic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
