Westwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Qashaun Shepard led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Dial got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Crockett had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three last Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-7 victory over the Longhorns. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.
Crockett now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Westwood, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
Everything came up roses for Westwood against Crockett when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 63-14 win.
