Baseball Recap: Hermiston Takes a Loss

Hermiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-1 to the Hanford Falcons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 last Wednesday.

Hermiston's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hanford, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hermiston will challenge rival Richland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hanford is set to face off against their familiar foe Chiawana at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
